Alessia Jade was founded by Julie with a clear vision: to create handbags that feel refined, timeless and beautifully made, without relying on animal leather.

The brand began from a simple observation. Women were being asked to choose between luxury design and more considered material choices. High-end accessories often leaned heavily on traditional leather, while many alternatives felt too casual, too trend-led or not elevated enough for women who wanted something polished and enduring.

Julie saw the space between those two worlds.

Alessia Jade was created to sit there. A handbag brand for women who value elegance, quality and modern design, but also care about what their pieces are made from. The intention was never to create loud sustainability statements or disposable fashion. It was to create refined accessories with a quieter sense of purpose.

Each Alessia Jade piece is designed around structure, proportion, finish and feel. The silhouettes are made to be timeless rather than seasonal, with a focus on clean lines, considered details and materials selected for how they look, hold and wear over time.

At the centre of the brand is our 01 / 02 / 03 Material Profile system. This defines the material behind each piece, from plastic-free bio materials such as MIRUM®, to plant-based alternatives including cactus, apple and grape, through to refined leather alternatives designed for everyday wear.

Every Alessia Jade bag is made without animal leather or animal-derived materials. This is not a passing trend for us. It is a design decision and a standard we build from.

Our approach to sustainability is practical and honest. We do not claim perfection. Instead, we focus on better choices where possible, thoughtful materials, refined craft and pieces designed to be carried beyond one season.

Alessia Jade is for women who want their accessories to feel beautiful, but not excessive. Considered, but not complicated. Modern, but not fleeting.
